Great question! The assessment call is a key part of personalizing your experience. Once you purchase your program and complete the intake forms, I’ll review everything and then we’ll connect to walk through your movement assessment, answer any questions, and make modifications tailored to your goals and abilities. That way, you’re starting on the right foot from Day 1.
You don’t need much — just yourself and a little space to move! The 7-Day Jumpstart is designed to be accessible without any special equipment. As you progress into programs like Foundations, you’ll need resistance bands, tube bands, and a stability ball just to name a few. These help you get the most out of the workouts and are essential for progressing safely and effectively. The full equipment list can be found in Day 0 (Getting Started) of the program.
Yes — as long as you’ve received medical clearance, you’re welcome to participate. During onboarding, you’ll complete a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire), which helps flag any current or past injuries so I can tailor the program appropriately. If you’re recovering from an injury or joint replacement, we can modify the workouts to meet your current abilities while still helping you progress. The goal is to support your recovery and keep you moving safely as you build back to full strength.
Absolutely! Whether you’re brand new to fitness or returning after time away, JMADFitness is designed to meet you where you are. Every program includes built-in modifications so you can move confidently, progress at your own pace, and build a strong foundation without feeling overwhelmed.
Not at all. JMADFitness programs are designed to be done from home using minimal equipment — no gym required. This helps you get started without extra obstacles. For those who already have a gym membership, future program options will include gym-based versions for added variety and progression.
Once you sign up through the website, you’ll receive a welcome email with a link to your program’s product page on the Trainerize platform. After downloading the program, you’ll be prompted to install the Trainerize app and create your account. From there, you’ll automatically be subscribed and gain full access to your program content, including guided videos and daily workouts.
– Yes — you’ll need the Trainerize app to access your full program. This app will be your fitness hub, where you’ll find daily workouts, track habits and progress, and stay in touch with your trainer.

The main workouts are about 30 minutes long. You’ll also want to allow an extra 15–20 minutes for a proper warm-up, any scheduled cardio and stretching prior to as well as a cool-down afterward. Altogether, you can expect to spend around 45–50 minutes total, depending on your pace and goals.
Life happens. If you miss a day, aim to complete the workout as soon as you reasonably can. My focus is helping you build consistency over time — not perfection. If you need help adjusting your week, just message me in the Trainerize app and we’ll make a plan together.
The biggest differences come down to cost, length, and level of customization. The 7-Day Jumpstart is a completely free, week-long intro program designed to get you moving with zero equipment required — just your body and a bit of space. The Foundations Program is a month-long, fully customized training plan built from your 1:1 assessment call, with workouts tailored to your needs, schedule, and available gear. It includes a variety of movements using home-friendly equipment like resistance bands, tube bands, stability balls, and more. A full list of suggested gear is available on Day 0 of the program.
The assessment call is our chance to officially kick things off! We’ll start with a quick intro chat, then walk through any remaining parts of the onboarding process — like how to download and navigate the Trainerize app, complete your forms, and go over your pre-program assessments (including basic posture and movement screenings like the OHSA). From there, I’ll make final customizations to your program based on what I see and what you share. Your tailored training plan will be ready to go by Sunday afternoon, so you can hit the ground running on Monday.
Yes — to a certain extent. As a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), I can provide general nutrition guidance, such as helping you understand macronutrients, hydration, pre/post-workout fuel, and how nutrition habits support your fitness goals. However, I cannot prescribe specific meal plans, diagnose health issues, or treat medical conditions — those are outside my scope of practice. If you’re looking for more in-depth support, I’m happy to refer you to a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Once I complete my Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) credential, you’ll also have the option to include deeper, habit-based nutrition coaching as an add-on directly on the product page — perfect if you’re ready to take your wellness to the next level.
